Why quality is not an inspection job

Checking a finished crane is the most expensive way to find the fault inside it. Quality is won at the moment the weld preparation is cut, the plate is sheared, the gearbox is chosen. That is why we place control points inside the process rather than at its end.

Our control points

Certificate checks on incoming material, dimensional checks before cutting and welding, visual and dimensional checks after welding, intermediate checks during assembly and a functional test before dispatch — a record is kept at every stage.
